AI visibility is how often your brand is named and cited inside the answers AI assistants give buyers (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and the rest). Assistants quote web sources (articles, Reddit threads, review sites), so the brands in those cited sources are the brands AI recommends. AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) is the practice of earning that presence.
